The equipment identification course continued with the department’s full microphone and accessory stock, covering what each microphone is, its applications and best practice.

Training overview
This session finished the equipment identification course with the full microphone stock. Trainees worked through each brand in turn, including C-Ducer, Crown, Q-Audio, DPA, Electro-Voice, Microtech Gefell, Neumann, Royer, Sennheiser, Schoeps, Shure and Soundfield, learning to recognise each model, its accessories and the jobs it is normally used for.
