A two-day walkthrough of the ROHM sound infrastructure, covering signal transmission, stage connection boxes, the COMMS room and the amplified concert set-up.

Training overview
This run covered the first two days of the Building Systems course.
- Signal transmission, analogue copper cables, stage connection boxes (SCBs), single and multi audio tie lines, AES and powered loudspeaker tie lines
- COMMS room patch bay: ATL and MAT distribution, parallel output busses, normal and half-normal patch points, links to the control room and amp room
- Amplified concert set-up: auditorium acoustic layout, MAT boxes and Avid Stage 64, cockpit and monitor desks, control room patch bay, amp room
- Galileo, Galaxy and Compass loudspeaker management, line arrays, ground stacks and cardioid sub configuration
Training milestones
- Signal paths traced from stage to COMMS room and control room
- Patch bay layout and normal and half-normal points understood
- Amplified concert set-up and loudspeaker management understood
