Lighting – ETC EOS Training
The Lighting team recently completed a practical training session focused on programming the ETC EOS lighting desk. Trainer – Egor Bubnov
Training overview
The ETC EOS training provided the ROHM Lighting Department with a structured introduction to the Eos lighting control platform, focusing on core programming principles, system operation and practical application within a professional theatre environment. The training combined theoretical knowledge with practical exercises, allowing trainees to develop confidence using the Eos software and understand its workflow.
Training milestones
- Introduction to the Eos family and overall system architecture.
- Understanding the Eos user interface, terminology and programming workflow.
- Creation and programming of channels, groups, presets and palettes.
- Recording and editing cues and cue sequences.
Next steps
The trainees should continue developing their Eos skills through regular practical use and programming exercises. The next stage should focus on more advanced programming techniques, including effects, macros, advanced cueing, tracking and troubleshooting.
