Known Issues
- 413 -- Search may not detect projectors using the broadcast search if they are not on the primary network device. The workaround is to use manual search.
- 476, 477 -- L2K1500 and L2K1000 may become unresponsive after extended PowerTool use. The workaround is not to use PowerTool with these projectors.
- 496 -- Projectors disconnected from the network do not always display as disconnected in PowerTool. The workaround is to restart PowerTool.
- 521 -- E Series projectors with latest firmware may be slow to respond.
- 526 -- The PowerTool 3.0 BETA installer does not uninstall previous versions of PowerTool. The workaround is to uninstall all previous versions before launching the PowerTool 3.0 Beta installer.
- 620, 622 -- Backup / Restore not fully working for Roadie (and other pre M/J Series 3 chip) Projectors. The workaround is to use another tool to backup and restore settings.
- 530 -- PowerTool will crash if you attempt to remove projectors from your configuration before PowerTool has loaded all projectors. If this occurs, restart PowerTool. To avoid this issue, wait for PowerTool to load all projectors before removing any projectors from the configuration.
- 640 -- For J Series projectors, the up / down arrows for Focus and Zoom are non-functional. The workaround is to use the slider +/- buttons.
- 641 -- Input signals are not shown properly when multiple projectors are selected. The control will still work to change input signals however it will not display the currently selected item as highlighted.
- 642 -- Picture-in-Picture (PiP) presets are incorrect for Roadie (and other pre M/J Series 3 chip) projectors. Top Right actually places the PiP window to the top left preset.
- 645 -- Virtual Remote does not currently work for E Series Projectors and sometimes can cause a crash if attempted. The workaround is to use the physical remote.
